
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. was born on August 3, 1977, in San Mateo, California. He played football and baseball in high school and was eventually recruited to play college football at the University of Michigan. After being drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft, Brady quickly established himself as one of the league’s top quarterbacks.
Brady led the Patriots to their first Super Bowl championship in 2001, and would go on to win six more Super Bowl titles with the team over the next 18 years. During his time with the Patriots, he was selected to 14 Pro Bowls, was named the NFL Most Valuable Player award winner three times, and set numerous NFL records.
In 2020, after 20 seasons with the Patriots, Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent. In his first season with the Buccaneers, Brady led the team to its first Super Bowl championship in 18 years and was named the Super Bowl MVP.
