How To Deactivate Instagram From Computer And Mobile?

To deactivate your Instagram account from a computer:

1. Go to the deactivate your account page by clicking this link: https://www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/temporary/.
2. Enter your Instagram login credentials and click “Log In.”
3. Select an option from the dropdown menu next to “Why are you disabling your account?”
4. Re-enter your Instagram password and click “Temporarily Disable Account.”

To deactivate your Instagram account from a mobile device:

1. Open the Instagram app and log in to your account.
2. Tap the “Profile” icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Tap the “Edit Profile” button.
4. Scroll down and tap “Temporarily disable my account.”
5. Select an option from the dropdown menu next to “Why are you disabling your account?”
6. Re-enter your Instagram password and tap “Temporarily Disable Account.”

Deactivating your Instagram account will make your profile and posts invisible to other users, but you can reactivate your account at any time by logging back in. If you want to permanently delete your account, you will need to follow the steps for deleting an Instagram account that I provided in an earlier answer.
