
To take a screenshot on a Windows computer:
- To capture the entire screen, press the “Print Screen” (PrtSc) key on your keyboard.
- To capture only the active window, press Alt + PrtSc.
- To capture a specific area of the screen, press the Windows key + Shift + S. The screen will dim and the cursor will change to a crosshair. Click and drag to select the area you want to capture, then release the mouse button.
The screenshot will be saved to the clipboard. You can paste it into a document or image editor by pressing Ctrl + V. Alternatively, you can save the screenshot as a file by opening an image editor (such as Microsoft Paint), clicking the “Paste” button, and then saving the image.
