Netflix began streaming video content in 2007. The service was initially only available to users in the United States, and it was initially limited to streaming on personal computers. In 2010, Netflix introduced streaming to devices such as Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Apple devices like the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, making it more accessible to a wider audience. The company introduced the option to download select titles for offline viewing in 2016. As of my knowledge cut off in 2021, Netflix streaming services are available in almost every country around the world and it has a wide range of devices compatible with it.
